What Sets us Apart?

No one camps in front of you and no one camps behind you at this privately owned and on-site managed, historic, family property. All sites are shaded and have either grass or gravel driveways. All sites are FHU with up to 50 amp electric.

We welcome dogs of all sizes.

Scenic seclusion called the “best-kept secret” by backpackers and naturalists. Continually earns the highest-rated campground in the tri-state area with annual upgrading reflecting the highest camping industry standards. We offer an off-leash area of nearly 20 acres – perfect for dogs under voice control.

Unique site development: fewer than 100 sites on 60 acres, all forested, all sites are full hook-up: water, sewer and up to 50 amp electric. Sites back into the woods and are surrounded by river-front property, visible through the trees.

Swim, fish, bird-watch, hike, bike, and stroll through the riverfront, 20 acre conservation area which includes an authentic, unrestored lock from the Historic Sandy and Beaver Canal

Four playgrounds, a tournament grade bocce court, paved basketball, horseshoes and gardens set this campground apart from the pack. Our Olympic-sized, newly renovated swimming pool and carpeted clubhouse features ceramic-tiled showers and restrooms.

Ready to enjoy the great outdoors? Rent our picnic pavilion that seats 250. Attached are handicap accessible restrooms and showers. There’s plenty of electric, picnic tables and a commercial size grill. Convenient parking and everything you need under one roof, makes Lock 30 Woodlands ideal for a company retreat or family reunion.

Wander for hours along the banks of Wild and Scenic designated Beaver Creek, flanked by a wildlife conservation area, accessible only to our guests. Blue herons and a family of bald eagles nest undisturbed, surrounded by a conservation easement.
